Emma McKenzie is a Canadian and Métis artist who lives and creates in British Columbia.

 

Her experience in the animation industry includes working as a 2D Designer, Background Designer, and Layout Artist at Atomic Cartoons with clients such as GBH Kids and Netflix.

 

She is also a SCBWI member illustrator open to work in children's publishing, including graphic novels, picture books, early readers, and covers.

 

​Emma has a BFA from the University of British Columbia in Visual Arts and Creative Writing, and a diploma with honours from Vancouver Film School's Animation Concept Art Program. 

​

Her free time is spent with her Golden Doodle, Sydney Bear, and her cat, Moo, who accompany her on adventures on the family farm and Canadian wilderness.
