Emma McKenzie is a Canadian and Métis artist who lives and creates in British Columbia.

 

Her experience in the animation industry includes working as a 2D Designer and Background Layout Artist at Atomic Cartoons with clients such as PBS Kids and Netflix. She is also a SCBWI member illustrator open to work in children's publishing, including graphic novels, picture books, early readers, covers, educational material and magazines. ​

 

​Emma has a BFA from the University of British Columbia in Visual Arts and Creative Writing, and a diploma with honours from Vancouver Film School's Animation Concept Art Program.

Her free time is spent with her Golden Doodle, Sydney Bear, and her cat, Moo, who accompany her on adventures on the family farm and Canadian wilderness.
